DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The department of chemistry was established in 1996 with an undergraduate course B.Sc Medical Lab Technology, Chemistry, Zoology later we have introduced three more undergraduate courses: MPC, CBZ, and MBBCC. The Postgraduate course was introduced in 2009 with a specialisation in organic chemistry.
VISION
By igniting and developing interest, passion, and enthusiasm for the study of chemistry in professional courses as a part of the curriculum, we hope to lay the groundwork for excellence and promote the establishment’s growth into a top institution.
MISSION
- To set up substantial contributions in focus areas such professors, modern labs, departmental library, and demonstrate a high level of proficiency.
- Introducing creative innovations inside the Department that will respect the legacy and ideals of the organisation.
- By increasing both the breadth and the depth of their knowledge bases, we hope to produce graduates who are dedicated to professionalism, integrity, and lifelong learning.
